You show an impressive display of metal stropped blocking, reminding me of the Bluenose blocks. I know it's no easy task getting the tiny hooks to look just right.

‘View on the Sella-Massif.’
Stay now in Corvara with my sports buddy for skiing in the Dolomites with perfect conditions and visiting Olympic events in different areas.
Unfortunately not the ice-skating... that's a 5.5 hour drive to Milan.
Regards, Peter
Thanks, Maarten. Yesterday we did the Sella Ronda, anti-clockwise.Great trip Peter, hope you have some time for skiing yourselve. Sella Ronda is beautiful. Take a down hill from the Gran Rissa to get the feeling of an Olympic skier![]()

WOW! That's beautiful scenery! To be able to ski on this must be quite a great experience. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.Today I made my most beautiful / impressive / spectacular ski-track ever.
First from the Passo di Falsarego with the cable car to the ‘Lagazuoi’ at 2752 mrt.

Than a track all the way between two rows of upright mountain walls to Armentarola:

Half way ‘The Organ’:

In summer the water came through all those holes and every hole has it own tune: that’s why it’s called ‘The Orgen’.

If you ever consider to go skiing in the Italian Dolomites: do this track. But you must have good weather.

Thanks, Daniel. You're caught in a dilemma on that track: it's wonderful skiing, but you have to stop so much to capture all that beauty. I've got those pictures now, so next time ...WOW! That's beautiful scenery! To be able to ski on this must be quite a great experience. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Oliver. Always nice to see another nice skiing area. It’s depending on the weather if we can reach the different venues of our list. They're not exactly 'Compact Games'. You always have to driver over mountain passes and the predictions are new snow. So, it’s challenging.Great views, Peter! Enjoy your snow and weather! As well as the Olympics. I hope you are able to take in a venue or two.
Here’s a view from my backyard at 10,040 ft. (3,060 m) View attachment 577711
That’s for sure, Paul. Up to 130 km/u and in some corners almost 5G! I could not find a emoji with the eyes down ..When a wall becomes a ceiling you know you're going fast!
