Hi Jim. I am also sorry about the loss of your son. My condolences.
You are correct, the mast information is not in the translated manual.
It's on the big sheet 8-4. Here is a picture of it:

The text is only going to page 40 in the Chinees manual. From page 41 till 47 there are only pictures of the masts and rigging, without text or parts numbers.
From page 48 till 50 it's text again. Therefore are only the text pages in that translated manual.
If you don't have excess to that Chinese manual I can make pictures of those pages 41 till 47 and send them to you in a PM. But you have to look for the parts number on that 8-4 sheet.

Thanks Peter, im sure im not the only parent dealing with a loss I am thankful for your messages.
I have the sheet plans, as each dowling is numbered i thought there would have been a corresponding description on where each went. Thanks again for everyone's support on this forum.

I have seen so many amazing people posting their competed builds, and I know im not alone in saying "OMG thats amazing" but while I started building the Bluenose, there were loads of problems and mistakes along the way. However, there is no way would give close up photos of my build. For me, its a success. Thank you to all the people here who helped with the hard bits lol. All the other items are also wood builds.
This is an amazing group of people who are here to advise and help. THANK YOU !!

It’s always nice to see a completed Bluenose, Jim. For sure when it have some personal touches. And she is standing proud in good company. And you may also be proud of this result.
