True story.She's amazing, good job!

Looking great Bill!Amazing how we let work and life get in the way of our REAL priorities!
I experimented with structure colors - at one point was close to a black cabin with white trim - and in the end settled on white and my "oak varnish" trim. I made the varnish a bit darker, toward the plan's "dark umber" while keeping some grain visible. Pretty pleased with it and some progress on deck. All structures are just floating for now and I need to add some details before securing them to the deck - the cabin door latch/hinges, vent pipe, compass housing to name three.

Thank you, Gregg! Building those little structures is in fact kinda fun and I try to respect the original as much as possible. I'm beginning to prep the cast parts for the windlass and winch, which is already trying my patience given the quality of the castings!Been awhile since I've checked in, Bill! I am "watching" it but don't get the alerts. <shrug> Your Bluenose is looking great. I had so much fun building all these little deck accoutrements. Hope you are enjoying the build, as well. Love your look and the colors you are giving it. Great job.
Very clean work, Bill!
Thank you, Paul and Daniel!Looking great Bill!
Hey Tom, thanks. That varnish has become very versatile!Looks really good! I like the contrast of the white and varnish. Will have to file that away for future build![]()
