HISTARGAZER, OH YS HAVE BEEN BUILDING FRAMES, FRAMES AND MORE FRAMES AS OF TOM ORROW WILL HAVE 40 FRAMES DONE I THINK THERE ARE 17 MORE TO GO, PUTTING TOGETHER THE JIG AND WILL POST UPDATE TOMORROW I HAVE NOT STARTED THE BEVELING YET BUT WILL DO A SAMPLE TO SEE IF IGOT IT RIGHT AND I HAVE THE QUSTION OF FRAME NO 41 ETC IS IT A DIFFERENT WAY TO PUT IT TOGETHER DO NOT KNOW IF I AM EXPLAINING IT PROPERLY ON THE BOW SIDE FRAMES THE ACK ENDSOF THE FRAMES LINE UP LEAIVNG 2 LINE FOR BEVELING TO THE EXTERIOR SIDE BUT WHAT HAPPENS TO THE STERN SIDE FRAMES NO 41 ETC THE BEVELS HAVE GO TOWARD THE STERN CONFUSED ABOUT THAT SO NEED HELPO THERE. Don the assembly of those frames looks very good to me. Obviously one will only be able to really tell once you have done the beveling. Maybe one of the other builders can chip in with Frame 41 onwards, because I am not nearly there yet. As you know, I have had another big issue on my hands that needed sorting out. That took up a LOT of time.

Hey Don, frame 41 is put together exactly like frame 40. The bevel is changing direction now that you are past midships so now every frame will be bevelled towards the stern. The extra line you see on the drawing on frame 41 is the laser etched line on the frame itself so you are understanding things right!!

Frame 41 is glued together with all the edges flush, the same as frame 40 was and all the other midships frames. The second line is just showing the bevel, it has nothing to do with how the front and backs are glued together.

Don, the difference on frame 27 is due to the change in deck height. Leave it staggered. I don’t think it’s is supposed to be beveled. Someone ahead of me can verify.
Checked the plans, that is definitely where the deck elevation change occurs on frame 27. Front side is lower deck, back side is upper deck. All frames after that, 28 and up, have the new elevation on the back.
