Brig Le FAVORI 1806 M1:55

very good looking result - btw very clever idea with the "round"-sanding-device

@Kortes
Just wonderful construction sir. Would you be kind enough to show how you created the rebate around the top of the ship's bell frame. It's the consistency of the rebate, considering the complex curves of the top that really impresses me and prompts my inquiry. I'm assuming a profiled scraper, but not sure.

Thank you for sharing your skilled works.

Wonderful! Thank you for sharing. I have seen other skilled modelers use this same technique with fantastic results. I look forward to the giving it a go myself soon. KUDOS sir!

Very good method for making such windows
I guess the wood is yellow hornbeam, or?
Like Jim mentioned already - it would fit very good for the Bees-painted ships of this persiod

Greetings, dear colleagues. I have made anchor closures. The absence of a lathe makes me look for other manufacturing options. First I made tubes of various sizes. Then I soldered a wire belt. I made one version of brass. I tried it looks nice, but not authentic, on the ships they were made out of lead. I'll try another version of iron so it's closer in color.Then I'll choose between the two.
