Googling "OO Scale dog" had good results, but you may need to broaden the definition of SLED dog...Thanks - Good idea. I have done some searching in US but not much in Europe. Will renew the hunt.

One of the first things I change now along with deadeyes and blocks. Rope is from https://craftysailor.com/collections/materials/products/handmade-miniature-rope-black. Nice stuff. That's some nice looking rope you are using Charlie.
Exactly what my son said..... So it shall be.My choice is to have the anchor stowed.
Hey Paul. Probably spend 4 - 6 hours a day in the shipyard so not speedy just don't do much else except ship building and some wildlife photography when the weather is right. You are a speedy builder Charlie. I am working on masts as well and it is taking me FOREVER to see progress like you just posted...
Thanks Heinrich. I try to use an airbrush on anything that needs to be painted. Never could get a good look with a regular brush.Everything is looking very good Charlie! You are doing a great job on the masts and have achieved a finish on them of which I am already jealous!
Well it doesn't hardly get more plumb than that. I love the way you use a laser to check alignment. I became interested in the story of the Endurance by way of the conversations in your log here and am reading a book written by the captain F.A. Worsley, I'm about a quarter way along and man I don't see how they are surviving the elements and sea creatures that want to eat them!Stepping the mizzen with a laser.

Most incredible survival story ever. Eating dogs, penguins, and seals for months on end not very inviting.Well it doesn't hardly get more plumb than that.
