I got a PM from one of the SOS members who is also making this kit with lighting, asking me to show some more steps of the build.


Now that the hull is almost ready it was time to think about the wiring and how it can be incorporated into a standard.

I had made a wooden stand with two uprights for the wiring to run through
I didn't like the look of one and was not satisfied with it

What else I came up with:
Bought hollow threaded rod at a lamp shop in my hometown and custom made

Found narrow one nuts M10 to clamp the hull

Tested whether all cables fit in

A maximum of 34 wires are needed for the three rooms and the tower that I leave in Transit A
(1,2,3 and 4 on the drawing
28 are needed for B

Nut glued into the hull, with special 2-component glue, which has a bearing capacity of 100 kg

And a narrow tube found in my hometown in one of the few model building shops in the Netherlands and a tube that fits to hide the nut

In my boxes with rubbers, rubbers were found, which one fits the nut, and the rubber has been filed and the tube sawn to size

By now clamping the rubber in the nut, the rubber expands a bit and clamps itself, the tube that falls around the nut
