Don Farr's Blandford Cross Section Build

THANKS ALL, HAD TO ORDER SOME BLOCKS SO I CAN RIG THE GUNS AND THAT WILL BE IT. WONDERFUL LEARNING EXPERIENCE, JUST STARTED MY FIRST COMPLETE SCRATCH BUILD THE LE ROCHFORT BY OUR MEMBER GERARD, WILL POST SOME PICTURES SOON HAVING A PROBLEM WITH CONFIRMING SOME THICKNESS DIMENSONS. Don
 
finally completed the guns, and I am finished, I want to thank everyone on SOS FOR ALL THE HELP I RCIEVED during construction especially MIKE41, WHAT A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE, now a word about rigging the guns, i tried for 3 days to rig the guns the proper way NO GO, not that i did not understand what to do just the fact that age caught up on this portion, as my eyesight is not what it once was, using 7mm blocks just could not see how to do it, using larger size blocks just would not work rather then leaving it empty i opted to use JIMS ADVICE AND DID THE BREECHING LINES, i think it looks OK20191101_203640.jpg20191101_203640.jpg20191101_203845.jpg
 
THANKS ALL FOR THE GREAT COMENTS AND THE LIKES, HOPE TO PUT THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I GAINED TO GOOD USE, THE BEST THING I ACOMPLISHED IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LOWER DECK AND THE MAIN DECK, A GREAT DEAL OF IMPROVEMENT THERE, it is my goal to improve with each build that i do even a slight amount. Hello Don, Great job you have did on your Blandford Cross Section, make me wish that I had started mine. But alas my Admiral talked me out of it as she prefers to see the whole ship, but then again it gives one a very nice view of just how these ships were built, as for now it is on the back burner, ENJOY.
