Thorn is the english for the greek Achanta o Acanto, a nymph Apollo had fallen in love for. Any figurehead rappresenting a joung pretty lady in an ancien greek coat would be suitable in my humble opinion. P.S. I've been following your HMS Thorn with great interest since the beginning. Cheers!
 
Fantastic, do you have pictures of these decorations finished printed, interesting to see what color you use on the resin you use when printing these figures.

@Norway - For small flat decors we use purple resin. For larger decors we use gray resin (print on the supports). We don't have photos of these ready-made decors. Our printers are busy with other projects.

We recently visited the Ancre website. We observed resin 3D prints of figureheads and barrels in the Ancre store.

It is a very nice initiative but..... We were shocked by the prices of resin products in the Ancre store. Really THE SHOCK!
