Today I worked on just a few things...I added the lower stay for the mizzen.

And after much thought and consideration...I decided to begin adding stunsail booms...though I will not be adding stunsails themselves.

I think I am going to rethink my stunsail design and fabrication. It has been pointed out that in most cases the stunsail boom was slung from underneath the yard....allowing the men better access to the sail and jackstay from top the yard....making furling of the sail far easier.
However, this was not always the case and these booms were also stored on top or slightly aft of the top of the yard...such as I have done.

Much pondering and thought has led me to alter the booms configuration and location...not to mention the *redo* of the hardware.

Thanks everyone.... I spent some time correcting the stunsail booms and the irons. I adopted the underneath design.....it makes the most sense.

I finished up the fore mast stunsail booms and worked on a few other items.

I also worked on the mizzen top stay and the topsail stay along with some main mast backstays.....

worked on the GR today and finished up the main backstays and then I began the mizzen shrouds finishing up the starboard side.

Just so everyone is aware of the scale I'm working in..I placed a penny against the aft house and mizzen fife rail.

These are really small - nothing for my thick fingers / but also with tweezers and magnifier I would have biiiiig problems

Spent a little time adding the royal, topgallant and topsail braces for the foremast. Some images of the deck blocks and purchases sent to the winches.
