Hi Dean, I was wondering what brand of plastic putty you use. I tried Vallejo plastic putty on my B17, the result was terrible, it never set up to a hard finish.
I actually use spackling for Sheetrock repair. It dries fast and sands easy.

I apply with a toothpick and then smooth with my fingertip. When dry, if needed, I lightly sand with 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper. Once painted and clear coated, I have never had any issues.
I am excited to build and add the P-39Q Airacobra and the P-43 Lancer to my WW2 collection. They are missing from my current collection and will be nice additions for historical reasons.
The EZline I ordered arrived! I purchased the smallest diameter they sell. At 1/72 scale it appears to be right…but wow, talk about tiny! And there is nothing EZ about this scale. 
Before finishing the Nieuport, my Albatross needed to be redone…sigh! I used thread and it bothers me every time I look at it.
With the thread as rigging…
Now with the EZline…
It is definitely more realistic looking. So I am happy with the Albatross D.Va now.

The Albatros is one of my favorites, and the rigging really bothered me because I felt like it was making the model look bad. So I am glad I did it over.

Well…I just finished another Bf-109 and it’s on the upper shelf, mid left row. I may change the camo a little, not sure yet. Sometimes you have to take a day off and revisit it fresh before changing anything.

I think it needs some more light color in it…in the darker areas.
