H.M.S. PEGASUS - Swan Class by David Antscherl & Greg Herbert Scale 1:36

We are waiting for the stars of Michelin!
When we imagine, that on such a stove the food of several hundreds of seamen was cooked, I guess that even MyDonalds is better

With these few pictures I try to explain how I do my welding. The parts must be well cleaned and kept in contact. With a brush I spread the flux all over the part to be soldered. With a flame soldering iron I heat everything around until the flux starts to boil. Now it is time to apply some of the solder, which is a silver-based rod.

Care must be taken to protect soldering joints already made with a heat-insulating past

I can't find the right words to describe your level of skill.
BTW never heard of heat-insulating past, have to keep that in mind.
Thermal paste (also called thermal compound, thermal grease, thermal interface material (TIM), thermal gel, heat paste, heat sink compound, heat sink paste, or CPU grease) dissipates heat. One of them is by jewelers when repairing the setting (prong) for the stone.
