As I had anticipated, I started a new challenge: the construction of an English frigate, with a carpentry that, until now, I had never approached. Very fascinating architecture, and a model, the Pegasus that struck me immediately, already from the first splendid images seen. I am studying a lot, because I would like to be able to come up with a model that is worthy of the great work done by David Antscherl and Greg Herbert and I count a lot on your help and support!

Meanwhile, I started setting up the first job:

Unbelievably precise work, congratulations (and Happy Birthday too). Just a question: is it deliberately so that the door panel can not be removed without dismounting one of the hinges first? (One hinge points upwards and the other one downwards.) Or is this a precautionary measure, to prevent the doors from falling off in heavy seas? Not criticising, just curious!

These doors are under the waterline, so no need for dismantling during action. I can imagine, that at such location they installed the door- hinges in this permanent way. I guess, that the hinges above the waterline are different...

Very good work on the hinches - only the thickness of the door is looking for me not so realistic - it is a little bit like a door of a tresor
