G'day Don, finally getting a bit of time to catch up on some builds, this is a beautiful little Schooner, I just love the framing you are doing, will you be leaving the hull open, ( no planks ) below the wales,

trying again. showing alignment of keel assembly by pusing the frames against deadwood, hope it works. Frames sitting on deadwood, Half Frame No 1 will be trimmed to bring it in the proper place on deadwood, ALSO VERY IMPORTANT SHOWING INSIDES TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE FITTING PROPERLY. Hi All, Wish I was not so impatient, SHOULD HAVE WAITED TO SEE Kip Scoviles build on NBM, showing use of inner jig for frame construction, better way then I used, I used this method on my Caustic build and foregot about it. Don.......PS Do not know what I did with the file compression to get the pictures up, was just messing around some how got it to work, will wait until Geoff is feeling better to find out what I did

Another familiar face, good to see your build of the Halifax. It's coming along, slowly but surely. POF construction does take time, no doubt. I look forward to seeing your model progress, so I'll be following along on this build.

When I first saw how the last stern frame 4 was placed I thought hum seems to close to the stern post. In some ships the last stern 1/2 frames touch at the deadwood and fan out as the reach the rail. I took a look at the Hahn archives and sure enough don you are right on, the back section of the frame is cut to rest against the stern post.halifax f4.jpghalifax53.jpghalifax67.jpg
 
Thanks Dave, Good for me to check make to many assumptions that turn out wrong, after I complete the half frames will go to the DREADED CANT FRAMES WILL NEED YOUR HELP THERE, always screw up the bevels, do not understand all the lines. THANKS Don
