Hello Dear Friends

Work has started on the topgallant shrouds and is going swell (The admiral is in full swing again and I have to jump around to "hold here", and "pull there"). ROTF The mainstay has also been placed and I'm really happy with the symmetry between that and the forestay.

Upon completion of the topgallant shrouds, I will post some pictures. Building will, however, be interrupted by some kayaking tomorrow which I have sorely missed the last couple of weeks.

Glad the shipyard is back in business and most importantly the dockworkers are healthy.

What to say other than “what a wonderful continued build“.

Really happy to read Anna is doing well and your Mike Tyson impersonation has faded enough to permit some kayaking relief :D.

Thank you so much Roger! Yes, I am glad my bout with Mike Tyson is a thing of the past. We actually found some muscle-relief tablets on TikTok of all places that came highly recommended for toothache, and they worked great!

Thank you, my dear friend. As you have said in your superb build log of the Alert, it's all a case of constantly learning and making the most of what you have in terms of resources - even though it may be limited.

Thank you, my dear friend. I also think the building combination works very well (I am a great assistant - even if I say so myself! ROTF ) Seriously though, the topgallant shrouds are finished, and we are now busy on the mizzen shrouds.

About the kayaking - thank you, my friend - we had a great time on the water! It was good to get some physical exercise in and the best part was that even after a three-week interruption, we were still relatively fast and fit.
