HIGH HOPES, WILD MEN AND THE DEVIL’S JAW - Willem Barentsz Kolderstok 1:50

Absolutely great. Would Anna mind working on my Galleon rigging when the time comes?
Thank you, Jan - BUT ... I think you will be hard-pressed. I jokingly said to her that I think my next build should be the Santa Ana (finally giving these Victory guys a dose of their own medicine! ROTF ) and even showed her some pictures. That, however, did not work out. She gave one look at the pics and said: "I only love THIS ship!" ROTF

Heinrich, I love the precise crisp clean appearance of your standing rigging. Very nice complement to the hull/deck structure.
Thank you, my friend. You make me a happy man when you say that, because "crisp" and "clean" were exactly the objectives we were aiming for.

Aha, the “Look”, I think we all get that on occasion. Rachel is very good at it.

The pictures speak for themselves Definitely, beautiful work!
Tell Anna she needs to give us a tutorial on how to do it both beautifully and accurately

Dear Friends

The Admiral is Back and sends her love and regards to all of you for your well-wishes!

The WB has promptly been moved to the Admiral's dock and work has commenced.

To say that I am a happy camper is an understatement!
Good to hear Heinrich! Thumbsup

Hi Heinrich,
You are always give credits to other builders, but man, you can build as well. This is clean, sharp and nicely detailed build. Lines look sharp as well. Lovely threat to follow as well.....

Thank you very much for the kind words, Peter. I love working with wood but differ from most builders out there in that I don't use any power tools (except an electric drill and a plank bender). My project selection is therefore very important as anything that requires milling, sawing, or turning out parts on a lathe, becomes a real challenge. My X-Acto knife and my files are my go-to tools!
