Or maybe it's something that is characteristic of people with OCD!Oh, I assure you it’s an International problem
Same with me....I think of the little things that I might do to add detail.....I guess I read too much....Hi Dean. yep ... true story. So true, Phil. And I surprise myself sometimes at the solutions that I come up with in the middle of the night.Same with me....I think of the little things that I might do to add detail.....I guess I read too much....
Me too. The bad part is I then want to get up and go work on it before I forget what I’d come up withSo true, Phil. And I surprise myself sometimes at the solutions that I come up with in the middle of the night.
Hah, that sounds like my affliction. Sometimes I think I suffer from the thirteen step short memory loss. Thirteen steps and “what was I ???”Me too. The bad part is I then want to get up and go work on it before I forget what I’d come up with
When I see this, I think of my high school life. I get up at 6am every morning and study until 12pm. I take one day off every month. To be honest, I have graduated from college for many years now and sometimes have nightmares in high school. They work very hard Ron. And after going home, most of them will be doing homework until 11-12 (depending on their levels). These students work hard and on weekends - it's extra classes.
Keep a notebook and pen next to the bed, Ron!Me too. The bad part is I then want to get up and go work on it before I forget what I’d come up with
Jan, follow my advice to Ron and to myself. Kolderstok's notebooks are ideal for this!Hah, that sounds like my affliction. Sometimes I think I suffer from the thirteen step short memory loss. Thirteen steps and “what was I ???”

That brings .up another dilemma. I sometimes can’t read my own writing and if I turn on a light to make notes I might as well just get up. Ok, now what was I doing before I logged into SOS just nowKeep a notebook and pen next to the bed, Ron!
Contemplating your next move?Hi Dean. yep ... true story. And even after I have gone bed, I still lie awake sometimes, contemplating my next move or thinking about some challenging part of the build I might be busy with at the time.
Oh my word, Ron - I can't help you with the handwriting issue. I would just get up and start building if I were you! That brings .up another dilemma. I sometimes can’t read my own writing and if I turn on a light to make notes I might as well just get up. Ok, now what was I doing before I logged into SOS just now
Roger - LOL! I have never dreamt of a completed ship model or of the build process - I just do the lying awake and thinking thing ... regularly! That is why I am up and sitting behind the PC - I'm thinking of reopening the shipyard for the weekend!Contemplating your next move?
Last night I finished my Syren build, all the fixtures, the rigging, paintwork, ropework, and then… I woke up
