HMS ALERT 1777 cutter POF by shota70 [COMPLETED BUILD]

Hello dear friends
Today I finished preparing the jig of the model.
first I removed with a knife the two parts that were accidentally glued yesterday , and for that thanks to Jim who helped point out the mistake.
Next I made the pillars that support at a 90 degree angle. At first I mounted them in a way that did not fit the holes they go into , then I adjusted them to the numbers (28 + 29) that appear in the instruction booklet and it fits in easily and fits.
By the way, this time too, one of the parts of the page simply did not withstand the pressure of the connection to the other part and was simply torn. Do not worry the problem was solved by gluing and connecting all the parts that supported the page.
Next I connected the 25-27 parts that support the frames and then the board that covers / closes the jig from above.

today I started the second step - Assemble the keel, false keel and all the components associated with it.
I started of course by removing the wood powder that was left in the grooves that the cnc machine created.
honestly, this is a bit of a tedious job so I only did it in the relevant parts.
Next I sanded the parts to bring them to a condition that would make glue stick according to the jig the kit gives.
To achieve the tar effect use charcoal powder mixed with glue, in my opinion after removing and sanding the residue and wood parts the result looks good.
I admit that the quality of the wood parts makes a quality impression and the start of a new kit also gives a fun and enjoyable desire and mood.

good evening dear friends
today I continued to prepare the keel.
first I drew with black pencil a line that going from the top of the inner post crossing the deadwood and ending at the rising wood. This 'Bearding line' established using the template CL53.
after that I have Sand the bearding line
to 5mm, at the bottom to 2.5mm.
then I Continue with the false keel that consists of two parts: the upper section part BL7 and lover section part BL8. To complete this assembly we will need the rising wood part BL9.
I checked the full alignment of all glued parts, use the template (part C52).
Since I left all the parts to dry in the jig until tomorrow, then the picture of the result will consume in the coming days.
