HMS ALERT 1777 cutter POF by Uwek

It is recommended to use fresh film for isolation

Uwe, it looks like you place a layer of Saran Wrap (what we in the US call ”clear film”) to prevent the frame from sticking to the form when it is glued. I presume you then flip the half of the frame over and glue the parts for the other side. Correct?
It looks like there are single frames and double frames. Am I right?
I haven’t seen you post any further log updates for the past week or so. More coming soon?
I need a little more guidance for the early stages and no one else besides me seems to be posting.

Will you place caulking between the parts?paper?
Hallo Zoly,
no I will not
In the past I put some very thin (30g/m2) paper in between the parts of the keel (see f.e. the La Salamandre)

but due to the fact that there was in original structure no caulking between these elements - I will not show them.
It is a pure question of taste....... and seems, that my taste changed with the time ...... let us see how often I will change by taste in future ;)
