HMS Diana 1:48 by Modelship Dockyard -Build log

I only know the information of the ship, the origin of the gun, especially the manufacturer, is not clear.
Hi FJ
Sorry, I was not referring to the manufacturer, the names are the pattern name. not the manufacturer. If you look at the drawings posted earlier you can see your cannon do not look like either of the actual designs used by the British in that era. The cannon on your model look quite a bit like Borgard pattern cannon which were used in 1716-1724. If you have not already seen it, there is some information you may find useful https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/threads/making-cannon.14545/

hank you very much for the information you provided. It is very useful. In fact, the guns of this ship were designed based on the relevant information of Diana. But it is obvious that the information you provided is more helpful. Thank you very much.$}BW)A}SZD`EF7MPE{)F{3O.pngThese are pictures of the 18-pounder and other guns provided by Diana's profile

I don't quite understand what you mean
Modelship dockyard used artificial "burnt nails" on deck and sheathing in their models. They were supposed to stop using it, but I see that these "artificial nails" are still there on your model.

Did you burn it yourself? I don't see it from the beginning, is it marked somehow in the set ?

Because this ship might not be sold, I did not follow the designer's ideas. I focused on my own aesthetic needs when making the hull. Of course, as I mentioned before, the nails on the hulls of warships in the 1790s were no longer visible, and they were all hidden.
