HMS Diana 1:48 by Modelship Dockyard -Build log

The progress continues. The design of the gun deck of this ship is very restored. I even doubt whether it is necessary to restore it in this way, which will extend the production time.

The designer's logic is to keep the invisible parts as simple as possible and easy to make. The visible parts should be restored as much as possible to enrich the details.

This ship is currently verified and produced. As the first producer, I have been communicating with the designer and provided production feedback in time. I will accelerate the production later, and complete the production of the upper deck and the hull as soon as possible, including carving installation

Excellent work. I like it. neat and precise everything. One piece of advice, how to finish the process when you don't need to take the model in your hands - use a copper cleaner to remove fingerprints and stains. (first try it on a sample). This way the surface will be uniform and will darken evenly.
Very useful proposal, but too late for meCautiousCautiousI've already applied a layer of protective paint

fj3131030,

Your kit design continues to be excellent.

I hope you find the below paragraphs from the original contract of a fifth rate frigate in the late 18th century, the time of Diana to be interesting. I just learned a few days ago while reading several contracts that the false keel was coppered separately from the keel so it could still tear away if grounding on the bottom without tearing the keel itself which was the original purpose of having it.
