The designer's logic is to keep the invisible parts as simple as possible and easy to make. The visible parts should be restored as much as possible to enrich the details.
This ship is currently verified and produced. As the first producer, I have been communicating with the designer and provided production feedback in time. I hope you find the below paragraphs from the original contract of a fifth rate frigate in the late 18th century, the time of Diana to be interesting. I just learned a few days ago while reading several contracts that the false keel was coppered separately from the keel so it could still tear away if grounding on the bottom without tearing the keel itself which was the original purpose of having it.
