HMS Diana by Caldercraft

The completion of the 18ft Cutter, based upon the info in the book "anatomy of ... the Diana".
For the choice of color I looked at many pictures again and came to the conclusion that the Hull of the Ships boats are indeed painted white (in the past white lead paint) and often a colored border is applied (band in green, black, red..). On the other hand I looked very attentively frame by frame of the movie "Master and Commander" and I saw that the interior is just brown (natural). Hence my brown paint.
And now started with the 24ft Cutter.

The pictures are not clear but I can assure you that the Cutter looks quite nice.

I forgot to mention that I provided the kliel with a square 1mm brass wire painted black....

A photo always emphasizes some imperfections.. Now I see that I still have to retouch some with white paint..

With a piece of paper...and a piece of plywood you can achieve a lot.....

A lot of fiddling and the smallest mistake is immediately visible..

Almost Finished.
Because I would like to add the Naval Flag...
But I don't know which one and how to install it (eg the rigging)..
Somebody some hint, drawings?

But I'm wondering if there is enough interest to open a log...
Did someone on this forum already build this ship?

On the other hand I am doing research i.e. I am looking for literature and detailed plans to build the ship as real as possible. In any case there is no book in the series "anatomy of the Ship...." .

I would love to see an Agamemnon log, I myself have been considering this kit but all the logs on it are very dated.

The Agamemnon is a beautiful 64 gun third rate ship of the line like HMS Vanguard and Bellona and Bellerophon and Elephant.
You can get AOTS of Bellona or look at build logs of those other third rates.
The Caldercraft brand as you know is very good.
I would love to see you build it and watch your log.
