Check your part #'s, I'm about 1/2 way done from bow, I don't think any were short. All moderately long.
make sure your deck beams are fit/spaced properly.

Bi more further information on my struggles building the kit
As you know Gun Ports are part of the frame with top and bottom sills
The Planking needs to be cut about a mm short of the port all round so the Lids can fit in to form a seal
This is impossible if you fit the planking and then cut the ports
There are no Lids provided
Step 118 does "Show" this
I must admit i am struggling

if you look at the last photo it shows the three parts 3 and the plan - nothing fits its too small ~~
Rest but will check
Richard, appears you have incorrect carlings based on slots for cross pieces.
I am past this but cannot recall mismatches with slots.

First off, given your issues, IMHO not super critical should you wish to make them flush.
That said should you desire them, a far more straight forward approach( which i will likely follow) is to plank, cut/trim ports and when satisfied use some thin stock to line inside of the ports leaving them a bit short of planking for desired approach. Far less complicated for desired effect.

Tearing My Hair Out Planking the Outer part of the Hull
Seem o have got duplicate Planks But it could be as they are double Planked as thick Stuff

I removed a number of the planks number them and Saved them
H9 and H8 have the following
a 3 5 4
b 1 2 3 4 5
c1 2 4 5
d1 2 3 5
ON J1
Ive got I think but nothing to do with this
7 1
5 1

I have the following removed and marked

a 3 4
b 2 3 4 5
c 2 3 4 5
d 3 4 5

E 2 3 4 5
F 4 5
I assume the Bottom 2 Planks are not Thick Stuff

Problem is that the Maual is in Chinese here

Seem to have a few sheets missing

SHOULD HAVE not removed the bits although i did Mark those I movedc

Good afternoon Jeff. All looking mighty fine. Those stern timbers are not easy - kudos. Cheers Grant
Thanks Grant. I appreciate you comment more than you know. I think it would be better if the instructions provided more guidance on exactly where they get installed. Maybe have a template to make sure they are in the right place so they align with the stern facia piece. :)

Wow, you got a manual? All I have is the PDF file. In step 99, it says the exterior planking is on sheets H3 through H9. The planks are numbered from the bottom to the top. The plank under most of the gun ports is plank 3. The planks have multiple pieces so plank 3 consists of 3.1 through 3.4. 3.1 is at the bow and 3.4 is at the stern. Then, below the above planks, in step 101 it says that the wales consist of 2 layers. "a" at the top down to "c" at the lowest level. "a" is a.1 through a.6. "b" is b.1 through b.5. "c" is c.1 through c.5 and "d" is d.1 through d.4. The first layer should be on sheets H3 through H9 and 1.5mm thick. Second layer at 1mm thick should be on sheets L1 and L2.

I hope that helps you my friend !!
LOL I'm a LONG way behind you on step 42. :)

Problem is Ive removed some of then and marked them
I have 2 of a number of them
i think I had two of he same sheets
Will give you a bit mor info tomorrow
yes its tthe PDF file

If you don't know which it is, fit them back into the sheets to verify.
Make sure you check the thickness too. :)
You will have duplicates because there are 2 layers. the first layer is 1.5 mm and the second layer is 1 mm.
Thrown the Sheets away

But i cant find a ew of the planks
I Am wondering if i have a missing sheet
Ghanks for confirming the double layer
