Perfect Keith. Oh boy all kits should include those jigs. I had many interesting moments trying to get my beams right....and as I build I am noticing some tiny deviations (nothing which is visibly noticable) but having that jig is a must. Kudos with your Enterprise, so far it is superb. Cheers Grant

I've even used a thick walnut woodstrip as a spring to avoid marring the stringer...

Today, I have finished installing the thick stuff and deck clamps. Not a job I have enjoyed I must say but I think it has worked out OK and is adding a bit more support to the ribs

That is looking very nice, Keith. They are nicely aligned on the inside against the frames.

Moving on now to the first of the deck timbers. This is the fore platform or orlop deck. It is built directly over the plan provided. It has to be built upside down on the plan as the frame, cross beams and carlings are all different thicknesses, and this way ensures they all line up on the upper surface. I am now back to doing what I love

Thank you very much Brad. You're right, this is a very well designed and manufactured kit. I have had a quick test fit and it fits very nicely onto the inner hull
