I counted und calculated: In total there are 1,258 knots on the lower masts. I've already finished 216 with what I've been working on today. So it goes fast! :D

Oh yes: In the upper floor, only about 450 knots remain. That is still a small matter.

we are eager to continue
Well, then go on here. It will not be long before the Mizzen mast is ready. The template is very helpful. But important is a healthy sense of proportion.

Jimmy is off today, but his friend Ricky wanted to test the new rat-lines.

His buddy Allan took the starboard side and climbed on the top.

The yard has now closed a few days. Tomorrow I drive a little further away. I do not only build ship models, I also like to listen to metal music. And tomorrow I'm at the Slayer concert. They're on their farewell tour - I can not miss that! "Anthrax" is also there, and "Lamb of God" and "Obituary". Thumbsup
So if these bands know someone here ...
I know: My ears will be glowing! :D
But if the guns of my Mercury were fired earlier, that was certainly louder ... ;)

Bye and see you soon! :)

I am happy for you, that you like the rigging works - a lot of modelers, me included do not like it so much......she is looking great!

I second Uwe, not my favorite part of ship modeling. However, without rigging the model is kinda 'naked' and if it is not an admiralty stile - looks unfinished (IMHO). Your rigging job looks fantastic!
