HMS Victory - Caldercraft 1/72 build log by Andi

Yeah Andy, I found mounting the rails to be one of the trickiest jobs too. Luckily, you'll see less of them afterwards than you do now.

The poop deck has been fitted, planked and varnished, the poop deck support knees have been painted and glued into place. The poop deck capping has been secured and the front edge of the decking has been capped with a plank sheer

Flag lockers have been assembled and fitted and the snatch blocks, cleats and kevels glued into place.

I decided that with the skylight I would glaze each window separately and allow the tight fitting frames to secure the glazing, it took quite a long time but I think it looks ok (the frames were painted before being inserted into the sides and roof but lost some paint when being pushed into place so i had to touch them up again when they were in place)

The Mizzen topsail sheet bits were assembled, drilled, painted and glued into place place
