Thsnks,

I was successful in downloading my thread on Sovereign of The Seas to my iPad but the choices in saving the file in my Files app would not let me. When I left the file, it was not saved anywhere in my deevice.please test and let us know...

Not the same, but a few off my already saved pdf builts withh ALL the images on it, one day, a couple of months ago, the images disappeared. Only the text are still in the files. These are 3 builts I am checking almost every day for my actual built.I tried to create the PDF on my Sovereign of The Seas 1637 build and got a PDF file with about less than half the photos showing in the file. For some reason it does not capture all photos althought the text is present. This was attempted on my new Imac M4 with the latest Apple update.
Any suggestions as to what happened would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill Short
Hi Donnie, in my case they all were saved and I opened them every day since I started my BR. Until one day, the images on 2 out of the 3 builts pdf files were gone.I am not sure about if this plugin / add on is compatible among all browsers and especially Apple or PC.
If you are able to make a successful transition from forum to your PDF file, then SAVE IT.
Oh. Good point. You know, I forget about phones. Phones and Apps are in a different universe and there is no guarantee on how mobiles work. Even tablets and iPads

Paul, I have been using this feature for some time and its a great option. Nevertheless, something strange happened to me. I never commented because I strongly believe it is an issue with my phone software.I'm bumping this thread for those who did not know it existed.
I spent some time this weekend backing up my Vasa, Kingfisher, and Esping build reports. The first two were quite long so it took some time but I feel good knowing I have these safe.
If you read through this thread you will see there were some issues with the Microsoft Edge browser. On my version after selecting 'print' I had the option of 'Save to PDF' and that worked perfectly.
Thanks for this heads-up, Daniel. I use a PC but will check my downloads from time to time to see if something happens. I also only have the free reader version. I save Word files to .pdf all the time and have never had an issue but checking seems wise.Paul, I have been using this feature for some time and its a great option. After a few days/weeks or months , when I return to open the downloaded pdf files, only the images of the first pages can be seen. Almost 90% of the images are empty spaces, gone The text is always there.
During my last build, the BHR cross-section build, I downloaded all the build logs I was using as reference. Is faster to search a pdf file than the build log at SOS. After a few weeks of opening them almost every day, on only 1, out of 4, I was able to see all the images. But !!!!! when I saved the pdf files all the images were there. Then, along the weeks, the inages started to disappear and only the text remained.
Since I retired, I got a new computer because my apple notebook already had 11 years old. So it was time for a new one. But I find myself only using it to fill my tax forms and occionally for a Zoom meeting. That means ~5 times per year
. So I use 99.99% of the time my foldable Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold-7 . And only the pdf reader version for my phone. I can't find a need to pay a full pdf software subscription. Is probably that what I need to do ?????
I have convinced my self that my issue has to be a sort of "phone Galaxy and pdf reader app incompatibility with the downloaded pdf files.
"Needless to say", independently of that issue, after the MSW crash, I downloaded 25 log builts. Included my logs ... HAHAHA HAHAHA.
Sorry, a long posting just to make you aware that from time to time, open your pdf downloaded files and scroll them.... just in case !!!
Best !!
Daniel
