Le Coureur 1776, model 1:48 by Adi

Dear friends, thank you all for the likes and comments, I am very honored.
Before mounting the single sheave block on the bow, I wondered If I should use the position as drawn in CAF or go for Boudriot variant. I decided for CAF, because the Boudriot solution is too close to the waterline.

The boat skids on deck are prepared and bolted. Then I checked exactly where the skids must be attached later on deck, that no rings or superstructures are in the way. The chances are good.

The compass cabinet, or binnacle was next. As with Uwe, I raised the ventilation a little, but with a slighly larger diameter, so that the outer ventilation holes also make sense.

The next task, the jigger boom partners.

In the course of further development, it became apparent, that the attachment points for the oars are at different heights. So had to replace some.

The railing is next. First of all, it was necessary to set the pillars so that they form an alignment line and height is correct. Then the rails were put on. A few small adjustments were necessary. The railing at the rear had to bent a little.

Next come the bowsprit partners. For this, the bowsprit must be filed or milled octogonally at the rear end and fitted.

Last but not least the pin rail behind the main mast. A very tiny thing, especially the brass belaying nails, really tiny. I blackened them immediately.

Adi, good afternoon. Shouldn't the railing at the stern be parallel to the gunwale? in the second photo and in the fourth, it is very clearly visible that the starboard side has gone down.
