Can you tell us more please about this apparatus and where can be ordered?
The device winds 3 threads (thickness can be changed) into the rope. It is attached to the ceiling; the length of the rope is 2.0 - 2.20 m. The ropes twisted by such an apparatus greatly enliven the model!
I ordered it on the Moscow forum. Nickname:

It’s good that I didn’t start installing the cannon ports ... A person who knows the story convinced me that there was no gray rigging! Redid:IMG_2881.JPG

I decided to dwell on the term: KNOT
a knot in English is just a term of the way tight the thread. However, there are many different knots out there, and different ways of tying them give them different names.

(RU) узел на английском языке - это просто термин, обозначающий связывание. Однако существует множество разных узлов, и разные способы их связывания дают им разные имена. Вот несколько из них

A very interesting (packed with valuable information) book -Knowing The Ropes by Roger C. Taylor. It is has a section: A handbook of knots, also the author talking about selecting, rigging, and handling lines aboard.

Thank you, Dmitro! But, the "director" of the 74th series, still chose a generic term: KNOT

In Russian, this node also has a dual name: STOPORNIY KNOP ... But I will also generalize it ...
