Looking great Daniel!
I have metal paper clamps that are good for holding down planks in tight areas. Of course you can always use a nail if you have a hand nailer and have room. Then there is the rubber band clamp method…wrap rubber band around the board and thru the frame on both sides and tension with wood stick on outside of ship. Many ways to skin a cat! ;)IMG_9179.jpeg

Yea Paul the Cage bit is scary --

BTW Daniel -- the Admiral now jokes telling me that if I were still working and on the way to a destination that I might, these days, forget to which airport I was scheduled to land at. Now I just drive to the market and forget things I was asked to get :D kind of....

PS:
I now have help - Microsoft has an app called "Microsoft To Do" brilliant addition to my iPhone for help
You can make lists of anything - once you buy (or complete the task) it drops down to completed - then when you need it again click on the item and it goes back to the top of the list - lists names are segregated by user; Market, Costco, Pharmacy, etc....

The admiral and I share the app so from her iPhone To Do will also forward the items to my phone. Perfect

Regards,

All great ideas Dean. I tried the paper clamps as well but not enough room up in the narrow bow area. The 1x5 pear strakes are very stiff and I was too impatient to soak the end and heat it to shape. The wedge system actually worked perfect so I'm happy.

Yes, that sounds like an excellent app. I use an app that came with my I-phone called 'Reminders', it reminds me about certain medicines everyday and any other thing I tell it. My memory certainly isn't what it used to be. My calendar app will do something similar.

I'm good if I remember the paper list and a pen to cross things off. That is if I remember why I went to the store in the first place- because I forgot to put it on the list...

Daniel, seems like I just got done following the B-17. Your progress is astonishing!
