Thanks Paul appreciate the offer - I just had my local cabinet maker break down all of my remaining billets of pear on his industrial size machines - much easier and safer than me with the Dewalt "finger taker" table saw I have in my garage. If I run loan - I'll know who to contact !!!By the way, @CLB, I reached out to Rare Woods and they boarded out some swiss pear for me. I ordered more than I suspect I can use in this present lifetime - so if you are in need I'm just up the road. I also chose a few planks of buxus macowanni that I will process into billets this summer. It's not sempervirens but it's close. Just trying to be neighborly. Plus, my kids will think its firewood when I'm gone...
