Learning to carve and sculpt in wood

Hello dear friends
Today I took the time to sharpen my carving chisels that have accumulated over the past few months. I purchased some of them during my recent vacation in New York (4 of these with the little pear handle on the bottom right).

I decided to do this to maintain the competency and skills development I had learned in the course and after the spectacular carvings I saw at an exhibition in Augsburg I realized I had to practice to develop. So the first step of course is well-honed tools, in practice I only provided the six medium chisels at the top right (the family asked to go to the cinema and watch a movie). The grinding process is based on grinding stones in water from a density of 600 to 6000 and a final polishing in another strip or cloth wheel on a manual dermal. At the end of the process I checked the quality on a wooden board and if necessary I repeated the process. There is also a round and triangular grinding stone.
In the coming days I will continue until all the chisels are sharpened.
