I have a self-built ropewalk out in my workshop, but in bad weather & winter it's too cold out there, so I looked to making a vertical one to use indoors, it worked out to be not worth my effort, so I ordered one. It's 'post free' from Poland, plus whatever charges HM customs throw at it!

Yes Daniel, and the cone I designed now is having a adjustment to slow him down. In that case the turns per cm increase and the rope getting stiffer.

Here you can see the new machine in action. I had to improvise a bit because my line track is suitable for my other machine, so I had to raise some things to make sure the KLOS would hang in the middle. But at least you can see the machine in action. You can clearly see that turning up the rope pushes the KLOS forward. Everything works by itself. The sound is because it is a machine with gears. They make more noise. This makes them more reliable with winding.
I also took some pictures to show how things are set up and the 3D printer is busy with the next one.
