HI Bill!Greetings! I have thought about building a ship model from DeAgostini but have yet to pull the trigger. May I have your opinion of them?4

We can talk endlessly about the quality of materials in DeAgostini’s magazines. As a rule, this is not a very good quality material. All parts are mainly made of plywood, which peel and break. Although I saw one assembly only from the magazine, and the result was not bad. I have a different build method. I replace the material from the kit with a higher quality one, making many of the elements myself. I replaced all the parts from the magazines with homemade ones, well, almost all of them. There is one big mistake in the instructions. According to the magazines, the hull offers a transom stern, which is not correct. I had to fix it. Starting from page 3 of my review, I wrote about this. If you have questions about the assembly, I’m ready to answer them.
