Modelship Dockyard - New Kit [Modelship Dockyard] PoF H.M.S. Enterprize 1774, the 1/48 version!

@TRS7139, so sorry for the beginner question: what is an "angled rifler"? would you have a picture to illustrate? thank you so much.
No problem, here it is.Alas , forgotten where I sourced it but should be an easy find.
The side cut is almost exactly proper thickness for carlings and it cuts well.

Lastly,
Taking a little break from beams/knees. A little work on gun deck, pumps, and upper well. Think I worked out process to mill slots for upper posts to fit angled slats. Probably make thinner slats as well. We'll see

Gentlemen, for your consideration, another instruction mystery regarding vertical stantions[ C1-9 that fit in/around corners of upper well.
Step #67 shows them inside well, #82 outside. By #84 we're back inside.
This is why with some steps you need to jump ahead and see the interplay as to future instillations so you're not ripping stuff out.
Since I now have built chain pump housings I realized C1-9 final placement is coordinated with final mounting of the chain pumps. Their handles pass through fittings on C1-9 and further on and all needs coordination to insure handles run straight, end to end. No detailed explanation but once you get to #84,#85 it gets obvious and several parts come into play.
Lastly, yo need to make very slight adjustments to C1-9 mortices since, once again they're captured by two levels of beams.
Simply make sure plenty of dry fitting gets you there.

Building the After Orlop Deck
Seems like there is no way into the main cabin
Not sure what the rack is or how its built
Nor the Little Lamp Unit

@richardjjs I believe the room with "the little lamp unit" is the powder room. They didn't want to have a lantern with an open flame in the same room where they were working with large amounts of gunpowder. :) I believe those racks you noted would hold individual charges of gunpowder ready to be used in the cannons. I believe you could come down a ladder to get into the area where H is displayed, then go through the door into the space marked with I. Then once the door to H is closed, you were allowed to open the door from I into the powder room. Also, I believe they sheeted the powder room with copper so there was no iron or steel to cause a spark. :)
