Montañés by Sevish - OcCre kit

Nothing new. I have these threads in size 120tex, 70tex, 30tex, others are also not available to me. First i make 3x120tec from which I have a line of about 0.10 mm, then i take 3x0.10 mm and i have about 0.4 mm and so on. Or i simply mix them by size one more inside core. Sometimes i use other threads, e.g. Polish Ariadna talia numbering ash 0916, beige 0930, black 0799, brown 0772. These are similar colors. First, try spinning any waste thread with a TEX mix of whatever thickness you want.
For Mara 120 the tex is 25 is about the threads that i'm using now, so I'm more limited with sizes i will check out the polish company that you offerd
Thank you for the assistance Thumbsup

I have this kit as well. It's still a couple of years away from being built, but it's nice to see other people's builds.
Looking great, btw.

Indeed there are some great builds here of the Montañés, and in overall it's good kit, but with the same occre's issues.

Every set have issues, also modeling plans have flaws. The question is whether you want to fix it or you have to do it as instructions say. Thinking doesn't hurt, sometimes it's worth changing it than thinking later that you could have.

I like the different gun rigging for different style of guns.
Thanks, i'm not really sure if it's the correct way of rigging the corrandes, I had some great reference form some scematics, but it's on my old phone (very hope so ROTF), but also the rigging from the Uss Constitution was pretty resembles to the schematics so I used this rigging as reference.

I Got the Gutermann Skala 240 yesterday.
The quality of the threads are excellent.
Colors 722,464,696 and 000

Three tests , 1 thread on each hook 2,and 3 threads on each hook results ≈0.2, 0.3, 0.4

And the 0.4 under the microscope .

Ho, yea , Unfortunately my client doesn't want to replace the threass with quality ropes (facepalm),so no cool looking ropes on this ship...
Maybe with his next project, but surely with my privet projects.

Cheers
