My 1/72 scale aircraft

Next up is going to be either …

Tough decision, I like them both and I have so many to build that it’s hard to choose one. I may lean towards the Harrier because it’s a unique jet with a big history, and I want it on the shelf sooner than later.

Hi Dean,

The Harrier is a very cool subject, but I love the Tigershark too. Like you said, I think I would do the Harrier first just because it is unique.

I like the way you think Bill.

Aircraft 99 is going to be the Harrier AV-8A.
Work has begun…

Progress update…been a lot of work to get this far. With the thrust nozzles, deflector plates, housings, and inlets, there is a specific order they have to go on. Luckily I took the time to examine it and test fit prior to gluing.
A few pics…

With the wings off, it kind of looks like a fish…lol

Quick update…time to start painting the camo…

[Dean62]

Painted the camo…next is decals and clear coat. There are 25 or more decals per side on the fuselage and around 20 on the top. So probably 70-80 decals. You don’t realize by looking at the finished model how many decals are on them. Some aircraft don’t have many.
