Hello Ship Mates
My Admiral and I thank you very much for all of your very kind concerns, best wishes and your Prayers for our son Dennis. He came trough 8 plus hours in the OR. His doctors are pleased with the results. However he dose have a long way to go as he lost most of the inside things in his throat along with his precious beard. No word as yet how long he will remain in Sunny Brook Hospital in Toronto as there is still a lot going on. Will keep you all updated.
We have not worked on our Oliver Cromwell for well over a month now. With all of the hospital visits, picking up a lot of colds bugs and so on from the hospital, the stress of the situation, it seams that it has nocked the wind out of our sails so to speak. We are off for a week of R & R at the Byers Lodge on the French River to celebrate the Admirals birthday. It is around 3 1/2 hours drive north of us so not to bad at that. We do want to rent there pontoon boat for at least a few days and just may try our luck at fishing. This will be a much needed rest and a chance to unwind a bit.
When we return on the 22 of June we hope that we can return to the Old Ship Yard and continue on our Oliver Cromwell build, now when we look at her our thoughts wonder all over the place, so this is just our way of avoiding another rebuild, ENJOY. Regards Lawrence
