Other hobbies that are not ship model building

Last week I got this packet:
001 Verpakking.jpg
The picture is a little bit shaky, I want to get quickly a look inside:
002 Doos.jpg
It gets this size:
003 Detail.jpg

To get a impression of the size, I build this version in 2016:
004 1299.jpg
004 1299-1.jpg

And I ordered from the American Paul Koo this Hardware+Toolkit, (because Pocher uses mostly the common black Philips cross-bolts):
008 PaulKoo1.jpg
with a lot of bolts like this:
009 PaulKoo2.jpg
Like this size:
010 PaulKoo3.jpg

On this Dutch forum I will make a build-log:

I will build it separate to the Robert E. Lee. The posts will come in that build-log not so quick like the last weeks.

Regards, Peter

You paid a LOT of money for that kit my friend!!!!! Top of the line!!!!!
Hello Mike,
I ordered it more then 1 year ago, for the estimated prices in 2019. Still a lot of money, but Pocher kits are indeed the Top!
Value for money and building pleasure for a long time.

Thanks to the other for the Replies and Likes. (Pocher fans!)

Have you waited more than 6 months?

Well I have seen model train locomotives costing upwards of $1,000 most common now a days with sound in HO scale are in $300-400 range, depending on level of details.

Of course these are operating models!

Not to mention ship kits listed on eBay for nearly $1K plus shipping so the term LOTS of money is relevant to other hobbies.
