Down to the last six frames with a question.

I started filing the edges on the last few frames and noticed that as the frames get smaller there is overlap (arrows) . I assume (bad word to use) that those little nooks/idents? get removed.

Good evening Jan. I’m not sure about the about the removal of the little nooks, but I think there has been some fabulous progress. Cheers Grant

Hi Jan,
I started at the keel and worked my way up, beveling both up and in. It's a good starting place, but you will find as you start adding strakes that these notches will need to be trimmed. I don't think they will every fit perfectly. The fit to the strakes amidships is much better than toward the stems. I pretty much gave up on trying to make them fit perfectly, as long as you have some surface to glue to. They will be covered anyway.

Looking good Jan!

Hi Russ. I was just curious as there is not much material work with on the last pieces.

It's been a very slow process. I've only managed a couple of hours here and there. Just gettind my "Zip" back after the nasty cold that I had.

I can relate. I was down for a couple of weeks with the cooties as well. I'm glad you're feeling better.

I had to rebuild a server rack last Sunday while the plant was closed, so lost some time in the shipyard last weekend, but I got my compressor/airbrush setup going today, so I hope to be able to post some progress in the next couple of days.

Hi Jan.

Thank you so much, the Admiral had planned an outing to my favorite restaurant for today, but we are at the start of one those snowy wet events maybe up to six inches . So the outing will have to be later this week.
