Pavel Nikitin Oseberg #3 kit #61

Great accomplishment Jan, that's one area I'm not looking forward to.
 I put that little chore off for quite awhile but finally had to get it done. I did wear a mask and a big apron. I did them by hand sanding versus using a little drum sander to remove the char. I was afraid of breakage while removing the char and then shaping them.

I've spent the last couple of shipyard sessions completing the small bits, fixing odds and ends, camouflaging mistakes, errors , etc.

Since I added the modified mast step and deck kit. I have a question.

By moving the mast step forward one section I've changed the rigging pattern.

The above (arrows) show the the cleats as per the rigging plan, With the new step in place should I redo the aft and forward cleats by moving them forward one section or leave them as is and do the rigging as shown on the kit plan.

Good morning Jan. Nice- very nice. It is a cool looking model. That is always the problem when we correct a kit - the knock on changes never seem to stop. Cheers Grant

Hey everyone.

I agree. I'm currently removing the rust marks from the HMS Enterprise. It's really time-consuming. Unfortunately, I can't remove them all because the kit has such tiny, delicate parts and I'm afraid of breaking them...
