I used acrylic black paint from Model Expo to tint the glue.
Yes, I used PVA glue.

You are right with the scupper on the cockpit rails as sailing spray or storm greenies could fill them up and the drainage is needed. Very nice build and the sequence of build photos and commentary are greatly appreciated by new aspiring builders such as myself. Thanks. PT-2
