Please help me with planking?

I dont think I'll complete any model unless I am motivated by selling them on.,

With a few exceptions over the past 45 years I found it better to have a buyer first. Making delivery is a great motivator. :)

Sending completed wooden models via post or courier will most likely result in the delivery of firewood and toothpics. Quite a challenge and huge potential for unhappy outcomes. Perhaps take them to a model shop to sell for you on commission.

Hope you do not mind an add on . I agree sending by common courier and postal services is asking for trouble. On the other hand there are safe alternatives. I have shipped rigged models across the USA and to Europe on numerous occasions. and all arrived safely and are still on display, including several that are moving around the oceans on cruise ships with no problems. Key is using a professional mover such as a company that ships antiques worldwide. The cost is dear, but the clients were given options and bore the costs of crating, shipping and insurance.

ty, at the moment i dont feel they are high eniugh standard to sell on completed.
ive got two which i would say could be OK, i think the best solution would be to assemble them and then remove masts so that they could easily be put together, explaing this in the blurb.
There are no wooden .model shops near me, but i think i could try contactjng the few there are to ask if they have a suggestion.
