Good evening dear friends :)

First of all I would like to thank you all for all your support!! :cool:

During the weekend I created the fireproof partition adjacent to the safety shaft on the lower deck of the stern.
The partition, unlike the others, is made of two walls connected to longitudinal beams, with half of the space between the walls filled with small stones.
I filled the space with a mixture of sawdust, glue and salt crystals that simulate small rocks.
As you can see, the deck is slowly taking shape. Take a look at the pictures for yourself, I hope you like it, I did.
I would like to emphasize that the parts are placed without final fixation.

my dear friend, thank you very much for your kind words and compliments, I'm doing great effort to get As accurate and beautiful results as possible
 
Good evening, dear friends on this journey

First of all I would like to thank you all for all your support!!

In the last two weeks I have made significant progress,
I have finished preparing all the parts that make up the middle deck in the stern.

First I will address the creation of the side cabin halves located on both sides of the safety shaft.
The rooms are zipped from a quarter of a transverse wall supported by the outline of the ship's side and from a longitudinal wall inside which is a window located on a rail.
In the photos I have attached you can see how I created the window and its frame. First I created the outer frame and inside it a step and in the wall , I created a matching rectangular frame which together allows movement to the window.
Finally I created the rearmost partition that includes a door. Here too I cut a step in the door and the lintel so that the closure will be in a uniform line.
Today I installed the side cabin permanently and also placed all the ribs and partitions that were prepared in the last month, and overall they all create a harmony that matches the plans.
I would like to emphasize that the final accuracy will be achieved with the permanent gluing and that the photographer is not the most talented.
In the meantime, I wish everyone a pleasant and enjoyable weekend.

This is very interesting. So they had made fire compartments. Great to see how you made the ship according to reality. Also love the details. Compliments!
