Ive been catching up on the Royal William, doing the gun port lids, I'm not doing anything too fancy, they will be fixed permanently in the open position, at the moment I can still remove them for painting and attaching the eye bolts, see pics below, I think that I might replace some of the upper ones with double side opening doors.

I have been making the lids for the transom gun ports, i shaped and sanded them from some wood , test fitting,

first lid attached, the lower rail the tuck rail has to be added yet,
