Regional Meeting of "Arbeitskreis Historischer Schiffbau" and forum "Segelschiffsmodellbau" in Augsburg / Germany on 14th March 2020

In March some members of the german Association "Arbeitskreis Historischer Schiffbau e.V." and of the german forum "Segelschiffsmodellbau" will meet for one day in Augsburg / Germany, in order to talk, show, look and chat.
We expect appr. 50 modelers coming together with their models. So much more modelers and also much more models like last year.

I am very happy to see there once more some friends, which also participated in October 2018 at the Convention in Rochefort

and the last regional meeting near Frankfurt last May 2019

but also some other very interesting modelers.

Also some of our SOS-members from Germany (or other countries) will be there.

I am so happy to see you all ..... this is than really a bigger "Meet and Great"

I will arrive already Friday afternoon / evening and will stay until Sunday, so if somebody is interested, maybe we can meet for a beer (or two) - I am in the Cityhotel Ost am Koe, where we have also the breakfast on Sunday morning.

So stay tuned .... I will report afterwards and show some of the models

The Phantom group built is a group project of the german forum building the Gaffel schooner Phantom:
the Saint Albans by Alexander alias @Foxtrott is this project, which he will show also in Augsburg

Due to the fact, that we have the meeting in a gym (Turnhalle) it is requested, that the visitors are wearing sneakers, sport shoes or slippers (Hausschuhe)

It is a very special time.
Unfortunately I had to decide not to go to the meeting in Germany.
I hope, that some of our members visiting the event are making a lot of photos and post them here in a topic.
 
I was travelling to Augsburg, but a friend of mine visited the event. At the end there were only 35 modelers with their models.
But next year ......
