You show in your pictures that you fit all the shrouds on one side, then all on the other side. Are they not meant to be alternating pairs - Starboard 1&2, port 1&2, starboard 3&4 etc.?

I fit all the pairs, then I fit all the shrouds in one side, but all the pairs are in place when I do it

Looks like you are spending several hours a day on your ship model, by the quick progress you are making.

Minimum a couple hours, usually 3 or 4

Today was arround 4, but it included editing Wednesday video

Also I'm getting faster on the 3rd mast, it's like copper plating, seems you get good at it when it's over

Progress even on birthday, finally done with these shrouds

And because the ship is becoming harder to handle, and the copper is looking nice, I've finally applied Matt varnish on it, and finished the weathering on the gunports

Is it necessary to blacken the brass first? Is the paint / pigment alone not enough?
