Shipyard 1/96 Santa Leocadia paper model build

One of the most important things in working with paper is that you need an abundant supply of blades (#11), I use mine then when starting to show signs of wear, put them back in the holder as they are still fine for plastic and wood, but those sharp blades are absolutely critical for paper and card stock modeling.

I’ve been going through blades very quickly yeah, working with the planks/ balsa is a relief because the blades last a lot longer. I’m gonna try and use more of the wood to make parts from now on using the paper as blueprints. Will have some planking updates in the next couple of days.

The captain of our USS Chesapeak yelled to his crew, "Don't give up the ship!". This admonition applies to models as well, how is your build coming along?
