Well, Eric, so much of this kind of modification project is super-tedious repetition, however, if you stay the course and remain consistent, then you will never regret the extra effort. You're doing a tremendous job!

Thank you, Marc! I can't say I ever feel the process is boring or tedious. Most things in life that we partake in, we see incremental progress. Bit by bit, and I just remind mysef to "embrace the process"!

A very brief update... the timberhead framing on both port/starboard sides of the forecastle are roughed in. I will save a bit of light sanding and filing until all of the timberheads are framed. The remaining 70+ timberheads are essentially the same size, so things should go smoothly.

Maybe I will be ready for painting the hull by Christmas (that would mark one year since I started on version #3.... or as I call it, SR1671.2). I have the fenders and ladders to apply, and then the drilling of about 800 various sized holes (for gun tackle, gun port lid lanyard, etc, etc.) that I have templates already constructed.
